Pablo will have a good first year hitting at Fenway. Then his appetite will kick in and he'll revert to his old fat *** lazy self. No loss there, he owes the Giants more for where he's at than we owe...

Anyone hearing any good (or bad) reports about this Carbonell dude we signed last year? I see he homered today, and his plate numbers look okay. Don't know how much playing time he's had though....

Could be that after bouncing around a bunch of teams the past few years, then coming (back) 'home' to win a championship with the Giants, Ish has become a more mature and confident contributor.

Panik last year was one of those guys we seem to pull out of our *** to play clutch baseball when needed to help us win titles. He certainly exceeded my expectations.

    ESPN article link

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz.--Before Pablo Sandoval departed as a free agent, before Hunter Pence got injured, 2015 was going to be a big year for Brandon Belt. It had to be.

    Belt has...

Let's just say that if ESPN wasn't there, the only people that'd be there are the ones that were unlucky enough to have been born there. Not the jewel of CT by any means! It's a small town though,...

Agree with RTL on Santana, and not giving up Susac. Would love to see Hamels here though, throw in Arias or Adrianza (or both!). And a big no to Howard.

I'm not sorry we "lost out" on paying Lester all that money. That would have been it for the offseason, and we'd be left hoping Sabes could pull off more of his dumpster magic to fill other needs.

I'm not buying this whole Lester thing. Wouldn't mind having him on the team by any means, but not buying that he's a Giants type of signing. Not for the money he'd command.

Didn't Colon have a PED 'incident' with the A's? If the Giants are willing to forego their principles on that issue, I'd much rather see them sign Melky than Colon.

Elite (whatever that means) or not. 5/95 is pretty damn "close to" $20 million. That in itself may not make him "elite". But it damn sure makes him worth "close to" $20 mil to somebody.
