The Bulls will not let Butler walk. Get it out of your heads.
It really isn't 100% on the Bears coaches. He is the same QB he was in Denver.
There is no coach out there that will fix Cutler's mechanics, reduce his INT's, and just improve his performance in general. Cutler is an average QB and that's all he will be.
As much as I want Cutler out of here, no way in hell would I give up a high draft pick just to get rid of him. Schefter is a moron.
Trading a former MVP just to get rid of him. Sounds like a smart plan.
Heat fans are by far the biggest trolls on this board.
Benching him won't hurt his value. They don't want Cutler to get hurt in one of these last two games and further diminish his trade value going into the offseason.
Misleading thread title.
The 22nd ranked defense in 2009?
Good FO's take risks. You can't keep continuing the same failed experiment because you're scared draft picks won't pan out. I don't know how much clearer that needs to be.
The Knicks play better without Melo :laugh2:
Look I've been one of the biggest anti-Cutler Bears fans lately, but this is not true. The team Cutler came to was nowhere near as good as the 2006 Bears team. Defense was still good, but not elite....
So you're okay with his averageness?
It's incredible that people still use every excuse in the book for him. After 9 ****in years, he's the same QB. How is that not a sign of his ineptitude?
I thought the same too, but truth is he was still a turnover machine and I think the progression made us forget about that a bit.
I never once mentioned cutting him, so maybe you should take more time to read my posts.
Yup, 1 boneheaded play from winning a weak division and getting bounced in the first round. I'll give Cutler 2011 as the season went down the shitter when he got hurt, but I don't for a second...
Do you agree with trading Cutler or not?
"I think we should draft a QB, I have since things started going south this season. However, I'm not a fan of punting a season and paying a QB that CAN win to play for someone else while we gamble on...
Like last year when his backup outplayed him? Or in 2011 when we eventually lose to GB? This team was never a serious contender under Cutler. Get real.
As if trying to win with Jay isn't a gamble..
If you fire Trestman, you might as well fire Emery too.
