Go look at the standings in NBA.com, both Orlando and the Lakers are in first place after having a worse record than their division rivals.
Like it or not Kobe for all his strengths and weaknesses will make sure the Lakers do not have the worst record in the league, they'll be bad, not that bad.
Do you see TD and Manu resigning for the short term to try and get a 3 peat?
I'll post a poll and explain your reasoning.
You pretty much supported my argument, winning attracts winning, the fact the Raptors weren't going anywhere is why Bosh left. Frankly, Bosh wasn't going to win us anything of note anyways so no big...
Carter was a situation that's complicated, so I can't really comment on it too much.
McGrady wanted out of Carter's shadow at the time to shine on his own.
Bosh was simply on a team going...
Right now, Toronto is a better destination from a winning standpoint at this time, I can't say what's for certain in the season but right now in terms of winning Toronto is becoming attractive.
This had left me speechless, you think as a fan or fan of a rival of a team you'd see these players for years and years..
The Raptors got so lucky Nash chose the Lakers.
I swear I thought this was a thread about how the Raptors should not be in the NBA when I read the title.
That would be me, with the whole Jordan vs Kobe thing going in these forums I decided to look at he differences, one of them was the hand size, this lead from one thing to another and before I knew...
So um yeah, that Anthony Davis fellow, really gonna bust huh.
Jordan was EASILY a better scorer than Kobe, and that's not a knock on Kobe, that's how good Jordan was.
1. Top 10 player ever is a bold statement considering forever is well forever, no one nows who is going to come in the future.
2. You would seriously put Kobe over guys like Kareem and Magic for...
Getting Durant is like getting Lebron, while it doesn't put your franchise as the favorites to win it all you become instant contenders by having Durant and anyone that follows him.
Jordan Has averaged 30.1 points per game, Kobe has averaged 25.5 points per game and this number will decline.
Jordan's FG% is at .497, which is better than Kobe's FG% which is .454 and will...
Can't compare coaches either, Pops knows how to use the depth he has, Casey is still up in the air.
Do I sense a theme here or is it just me?
1. You cannot put players out of position.
2. You can put players together from any era.
3. These have to be extremely good players, HOF like.
4. All players must be in their primes, it's...
Remember this is about offense purely, defense does not come into the picture. I really wanted both Paul to lead the offense and I wanted Curry for his pure ability to shoot and pass. In the end I...
That and absolutely phenomenal coaching. Pops could tell Leonard to **** off and do what he says, and Leonard will do just that, no questions asked.
You guys have got to be the only sub forum that do in game threads for preseason games on each individual game. :laugh2:
Everyone with a brain cell "well duh Dion should not lead the team in shots"
