Tank mode in full swing...
I think if he's playing somewhere it wouldn't be for The Bulls.
Has Mel Tucker been fired yet?
Ooh, awesome, too bad his name isn't Fire Mel Tucker
I don't even really see the body type either. Soler has Vlad's body type. Lake is much thinner
Hub at least repeatedly admits that he doesn't know much about baseball (other than as a passive Cubs fan). Not sure what Wittenmeyer's excuse is other than what we already know about him?
Oh well, Better this year than next
Sprained left ankle for Castro
Valaika is brutal at 1B that should have been an easy play. Wow.
Fun to see all this damage being done this series w/o Rizzo in the lineup at all and only Soler in there 1/2 the time
This. What exactly is this team playing for again? Try to get out of last place in the division?
I can't help but think about all The Cards fans sitting in Busch right now thinking to themselves "We've gotta deal with this guy for how many years? Uh oh"
Also factor in the money it's gonna cost to lock Stanton up longterm (plus he's got a couple extra years on Bryant). If the FO feels they've got enough offense in the lineup to win a WS already with...
IF The Marlins let teams know they're willing to move Stanton this offseason, every single team in baseball is gonna try and explore options to acquire him, that's a given.
The Cubs can try and trade for Stanton all they want, IMO There's really no reason why The Marlins should trade him this offseason.
I agree, I think they start the year with these prospects, sprinkle in a couple prospects to the roster during the season next year, while constantly evaluating their 40 man roster. If they're in...
It's laughable that you're still on the topic of this losing debate. Give it up.
Wasn't Soriano and Castro good buddies? Hmm...
I mean that's 3 full seasons. Why would they do it now? I just find it unlikely they will want to move him while they still got a good amount of control left.
True, BUT Catcher might be the one spot that could still be open when his bat is ready to hit the bigs.
No doubt he will be dealt. The bigger question here is when will he be dealt?
Don't know if anyone heard Theo's interview on The Score this morning but it did sound like they're gonna give Schwarber every opportunity (starting this offseason) to stick at the catcher position....
