Take that sliderson
Astros could get decent within a few years, especially when they more then likely get another close to ML ready pitcher in next years draft (Beede or Rodon). Both of whom probably have higher upside...
Out of all the guys who have been missing, Casilla may have been the most missed. Our bullpen has been a mess the last few weeks with no real righ handed set up man.
...and the main guys that did get hurt were out for months/the rest of the season
They better get something going this inning, cuz not very many useful bullpen parts left
at least it's Cain and Bum the next two days
At the very least we have homeZito, Cain, and Bumgarner going this series
Padres could be without Everth Cabrera for a bit (hamstring)
Rox are about to get severly tested...
9 game road trip to Tor, WSH, and BOS then home for us and the Dodgers, and then end the 1st half with a 10 game road trip to ARZ, SD, and LA
We are getting to the point where we may have to start rooting for the Dodgers to notlose against teams like the Pirates, Reds, D'backs, Rox... (can't say want them to win).
The thing that sucks most is the amount of miles traveled in the 2nd half. We only have 4 road trips post ASB, but one is to Philly/TB and another is to WSH/Miami (along with the NY trip). In terms...
It's basically all West teams from late August till end of season (with the exception of the New York trip)
We are also 3rd in ESPN's RPI rankings (which takes into account winning %, opponents...
They are also in the bottom half of the league in Strenght of Schedule (Giants have had the 2nd toughest in all of baseball so far)
It's actually 7 games at home (4 vs the Marlins)
To be somewhat fair to the original schedule maker, this was not orignally an ESPN game. It was added about 2 weeks ago.
The worst of the scheduling is how they put the Sunday Atlanta game on ESPN when we play in SF on Monday night.
Wonder if they take a flier on the recently DFA'd Lowe
Dodgers about to sign Jonathan Sanchez
Seeing that we went 45-27 last season against the West last season (and even 43-29 in 2011), we can def. keep this type of winning up to a certain extent.
They have also never won a game in SF when trailing by 3 or more runs
error by the shortshop and a pop up double off the chalk line
Thats very Romoesque
Their record, run differential, and offense would say so at the moment :)
