I would guess that he is first ballot when he retires but it isn't a guarantee yet.
This seems to be pretty much my thoughts as well. The people in here who seem to be bashing those who disagree are the common ones who will push an agenda no matter what. Kobe is a fantastic top 10...
Awesome, Id rather have him back in 23 in Cle. Makes him look like a fool though.
Patty Mills 1.2
Danny Green 3.8
Mike Miller 1.4
Rashard Lewis 1.4
Tons of people who rank players or voted in these polls play or played a lot of basketball and he is usually around 6-11 on lists. Most don't have Kobe in the 1-3 range, that is extreme to me.
Overall I think the list is pretty good and it is close to mine (has the tiers exactly).
I personally would probably move magic down actually, but he has been at 4 on my list before (never know...
No, I googled it to see if your claim of "Kobe is considered the 1# to #3 player all time everywhere on earth except PSD." was even remotely true. It isn't as the sites man ram linked show which is...
I actually did the same as him and googled the question and didn't see people placing him top 1-3 like you suggested (I only saw one mention top 5). You said this happens everywhere but PSD and as it...
Oscar here for me
Gasol was better than most of the 2nd best options at the time, not worse than all of them.
Kobe played with prime Shaq for 8 years while Lebron spent his first 7 with best players being big Z and Mo Williams over the span and Mike Brown as coach. Lebron had that type of help on Miami for 4...
My hope has been Wiggins, Bennett, and a future first for love (probably need a contract like haywood? to make it work). What are your thoughts on this?
Kobe again for me. His longevity (which also helps his accolades and totals) is just too much for Bird at this point. Also it is a time where Kobe's good defense is an advantage compared to another...
I think smart, Olynik, Young is almost as good as Waiters, TT, Bennett. They are also on better contracts going forward and Boston has more/better picks to give.
I agree, but it is still possible and better than the Cavs offer (could get a 3rd team involved possible too). We didn't take that thought which is why I see no way we take the Cle offer without...
My list has Kobe, Lebron, Bird, Russell at 8-11 so that is the order I will be trying to vote them in.
See my above post but they could offer a lot of young players and picks. They wouldn't offer all of this but they have:
Jeff Green (I wouldn't want him but it is...
Waiters is solid, but he is the only one who really interests me and Boston has more picks to give with smart (20), james young (18), and they can also can add Olynik (23) or Sullinger (22)
If Waiters, TT, Bennett and a first is the best offer we should definitely wait until the deadline to decide. I'd rather just get young assets and picks from Boston over that package.
Ya it sounds like 10 mil per year, not horrible
Completely agree with the idea but not sure about Love (I'm hopeful of Wiggins but we will see). I think you guys will do what you said in looking to acquire another expiring plus asset but that you...
