Even at 6'7"?
Why on Earth have the Lakers not already done this?!
I guess signing Evan Turner could dry up the SF market a bit, making Green easier to trade.
I don't like the alternate logo...too plain.
They could use an alternate jersey, though (the black + green is ok). I'm thinking green and grey similar to this New Balance color scheme:
You did not.
But your opinion about tanking was based on it having let us down the past 2 times.
Who knows - it could let us down again? On the other hand, ask a Cavs fan how they like the...
Is anyone else borderline insulted that they even pretended trading Wiggins wasn't a no-brainer all along?
You've got the the best player ever on your roster for 2 years, guaranteed - you go for...
Sully and Randle could be very similar players, imho.
Where do you think would be a good landing spot for Randle in this hypothetical?
What is "2 in 9" referring to? Is it a craps term?
agreed. Chris Paul is making $20M/yr, and is overpaid - as great as he is. There's only 1 player I'd even consider using a third of my team's salary cap on: LeBron.
this myth is BUSTED!
Phoenix Suns have Lakers' 2015 pick - top 5 protected, i believe.
what exactly does the kid from Utah offer the Celtics? good player, but i dont think its time to be spending on pricey free agents. thats like buying a sports car when your living in a slum.
Is there cap space to make those moves?
as a C's fan, i take the deal. not sure who to keep between Sullinger and Randle, though - basically clones of eachother.
^ that trade exception could be huge for the right team - could allow them to sign 2 big free agents (rather than 1).
OR, the Suns could just have a really sweet extra draft pick next year
what exactly would you give for C's trade exception?
i've got a Lakers fan friend that thinks SMART is TERRIBLE, and that Randle is amazing.
personally, i think both picks are very good for their respective team, and that my friend can be a real...
so the C's essentially give Rondo, #6, #17, and 2015 Clippers for #1 and McLemore?
i don't like it. not even a little.
if we were to place a commonly discussed value on Rondo - say McLemore and...
Pelicans GAVE a first round pick? Their GM deserves an atomic wedgie.
any team can take Nash's salary - correct.
BUT, what other team's can do it without sending matching salary BACK to the Lakers.
The Celtics have non-guaranteed contracts and the Pierce trade...
And another $10M trade exception - also known as the key to landing LeBron for a few teams.
If the "future first" was the 2015 Clippers...i think i could live with that - though Bradley is probably more desirable for them
I'd offer #6, and Olynyk. Olynyk was 13th overall, and played better than half the guys drafted ahead of him. Cleveland is in the position to take leaps forward, and should be looking to win more...
I don't advocate for bringing in Love, but a quartet of Love, Asik, Sully, and Olynyk would make for one of the better front-courts around, would it not?
Further, i think a defensive center...
while i certainly haven't viewed 50, the dozen or so i saw had the same trends.
I predict (and desire) Smart and Saric to be picked by C's...assuming Embiid is gone at #6
anyone else care to...
I think it would be more likely to trade back into the late 1st round - perhaps Jeff Green, and/or Avery Bradley S&T. IMHO, Bradley could be a strong role player for teams that made the playoffs,...
MAYBE #6 and the 2015 Clippers pick.
With the depth in this draft, the C's need more picks, not less. I don't see a scenario where the C's pick less than twice in the first round next week that...
