Again...there is no upside to signing AJ. For the purpose of good conversations...let's focus on disscusions that could make the team better and closer to a World Series. AJ does none of that.
For Viciedo...i'd take it in a heart beat...Or Erasmo ;)
With Brandon Phillips out for a while...that could add a team interetsed in Beckham.
I was thinking the same thing. I wouldn't mind adding J.R. Murphy. The Sox might have to eat some salary to get that done.
Not at all picking a fight...but whats the upside? What do the Sox gain by adding AJ? Any just because he's a fan favorite has nothing to do with anything.
First off...i didnt say i want him...i do however beleive the Sox are probably interetsed.
Secondly, you're missing the point. You're not gonna get get much for Viciedo...so acquiring a young...
We've really only thought of the*Mariners*as buyers at this point, using their assets to pry away win-now talent from teams out of contention. But a*little blurb*in Bob Dutton's morning piece today...

I'm thinking the White Sox are probably one of those teams. Has decent stuff.
i was just coming on to post this also. Can't remember who tweeted it but it was a credible source.
I still think the Sox probably are at least listening on Q. He actually can bring back a terrific package. Im not saying i hope they do trade him, but if the right deal came along.
I'd be shocked if Rodon didn't sign.
He's got a great arm just can't control it.
get walkin Cleto...it is what you do best...

This is something i have thought about for awhile. Quintana has proven to be a good, durable, mid-roatation, lefty, who is signed to a team friendly contract through 2020. Of...
I also wanted Burdi, however, i do understand the differnce in value drafting a releiver and the second round instaed of a potential starter. I'm thinking that is why the Sox passed on Burdi.
I read somewhere recently, can't remember where, that actually Hahn and Boras have a fine relationship going back to when Hahn was a Player agent himself.
i do like the pick..i always prefer college arms...but its a good pick...
wow...ok...see ya guys...thought there was a possiblity for intelligent conversation...apparently not...i was warned that wasnt possble in the cubs forum...didnt beelive it...guess i was wrong....
no...stinnet is that bad of an arm...but again...below slot two picks in a row? some were saying stinnet could go in round three..
huh? just looking for a discussion....
the fallen talen is going....will be interesting i guuess
lol...really? read any scoutning reports? watch the broadcast tonight? worse draft of the night....by far
