Correct me if I'm wrong, but Jeff Green is signed to a 4 year, 36 million dollar contract. That's 9/year.
Will he live up to his contract?

Only as a SF, he can't play PF.
When Pierce retires, hogging minutes
Too soon to tell. He was probably a little over payed when he signed the contract but that's the new norm in today's NBA.
He's awesome in preseason.
I really hope so
What's the value of a 9 million dollar player?
Anyone with a surgery like him it's amazing to see him still play
When he gets enough minutes in the right rotations.
I hope so, kids got talent. His consistency is his biggest issue in my opinion.
I don't think so he's a solid player who has some good moments though.
Gawd no. He's not a 10 million dollar player (or 9 million). He's a borderline starter in this league. I don't think that warrants 9 million a year. And he isn't that efficient a scorer. He's not a great rebounder. He's not a great player maker. He's an average shooter at best. I mean... I was quite surprised to see him get that big of a deal to be honest.
He's a great guy to have coming off the bench, but he frankly doesn't bring the kind of impact to the floor that I would expect of a 9million dollar player.
I mean, he's been in the league 4 or 5 years now and hasn't shown any real improvement from his sophmore season. By 26 years of age I expect some sort of improvement. Most players have reached their full potential by that age.
i say no, green has always been overrated and than coming off a serious heart surgery, not a good move for the Celts.
when peirce and garnett retire once he becomes a starter and the team is led by him and rondo until then nope
A young Marvin Williams: Both nice guys, high picks, but will only frustrate you so it's best to just lower your expectations and ignore the massive contracts given because the front offices wouldn't admit they made a mistake.
