I think our best bet is 2nd base for flores, he has good hands. His range will be limited but if he has pop we will attempt it. Otherwise you let him inflate his numbers at 3rd in Vegas then move him for an OF or pitcher.

I've been saying this for a year now. Shame he wasn't playing outfield in the Instructional League. Makes no sense. We've got a bat without a position and three outfield positions without bats. What is wrong with this equation?
Yeah, i get it, the man is no Bob Hayes. But the man is no Ernie Lombardi either. Look at it this way: HE HAS TO BE AT LEAST AS FAST AS LUCAS DUDA!!!!!!!
Flores has really good hands on the infield. He was never going to stick at SS, but should fit at 1B or 3B.
I sorta remember us playing Rusty Staub in outfield.
Flores has had a decent week of playing, he might get thrown in on th edeal.
The guys nickname is tortuga thats all you need to know about his speed
If the guy can hold his own at SS, there is no reason why he can't play at least average MLB level defense in a corner OF spot. If anything, he should be able to perform a little above average once he learns the position.
"Le Grand Orange"......Rusty was the man, on and off the field. A true class act, clubhouse gem, one of the greatest pinch hitters ever, with offensive talent and a flair for producing in clutch situations. To top it off, he played about as well as one could expect a big fat body to play in the outfield.
I'm looking at him now. He's played first base, third base, and CORNER OUTFIELD!
Now, whether Flores will be as bad as Morse out there remains to be seen. But the point is, Morse was a shortstop and was moved to corner infield and outfield.
Such a no brainer.
