Needed a new one. Talk about Bargs, Pau and other ideas here. I will start:

I like the idea. I think December 15 is when Fields can be traded. I have been a fan of Wesley Johnson.

Not sure why Phx would do that though.

wow. wesley johnson has had a miserable career so far hasn't he? i didn't even know he was on Phoenix but god he's been awful.

and Daoud is right, Phoenix would need to be on crack to accept.

Was Phoenix not the team that wanted Fields during the offseason? Maybe they like him more than PJ Tucker and Shannon Brown. That is what I figured with the deal.

damn... that is a lot of payroll.

Something should be worked out to get the athletic forward we need to run the floor with Lowry night in night out and the superstar we need at the same time.

Something like:
To Lakers: Bargnani + Calderon + ?!
To Hawks: Pau Gasol + ?!
To Raptors: Josh Smith + ?!

I don't know what fillers or picks should be needed for the salaries to match and the trade to be accepted but that would be an incrdible uptempo duo Lowry and Smith!

That's just the thing.... will it be an addition by subtraction? Are teams trying to give us junk for him?

I don't think we need to get back a star, just a serviceable player or two with friendly contracts.

If his play declines further, his only value will come with possible mentor ship & large expiring.

Majority of people think it's worth it, for the sole purpose of dumping Bargnani.

Some believe Gasol just needs a change in venue.

I think if Raptors are going to give up on Bargnani, I'm with Bramaca. Trade for potential & return to the draft.
