He couldn't hit lefties last year, but he's better against them for his career. So.....whatever. He's a baseball player.
Not very good. I see no point in this. I'd prefer campana in center than him in right. He doesn't hit for much power. At least campana is fun to watch.
He's got a cannon so there's that. Meh a whatever move
I didn't even think it was possible to get more meh than DeJesus but it just happened.
Meh is right
lol not looking good for 2013 so far, but its still early. 4th OF at best on a halfway decent team.
whatever
He's been in the league for 6 years and I've never heard of him. I guess he's a defensive right fielder so fits with the run prevention Theo preaches.
Looks like their concentrating on pitching and defense this off season. Starlin and Rizzo are gonna have to shoulder the load when it comes to scoring runs next year.
OPS'd over 800 last 2 years vs. righties. Also slugged over .460 both years against righties.
Good D and half a platoon, I can dig it.
I love the one of Kennedy looking like he's gonna walk home and Schierholtz throws a missle to the 2nd basemen.
Yeah this is a pretty boring signing. But he and Sappelt might be able to give us some solid production in RF. That said I really hope Jackson improves a lot with his new swing and takes over the job midseason. This is a fine stopgap move, and If we had a little better idea of what was going to happen with 3rd I'd be more excited about it. But if you are upgrading your offense by doing this and even more medoicre offense at third. Well I don't like the chances of the offense being much better in 2013.
My only problem with this is that DeJesus is almost certainly going to play CF. That's not going to work.
