With how Colin Kaepernick and Kirk Cousins played today for their respective teams I have a feeling either Alex Smith or Cousins could be legitimate targets for us to replace Sanchez as our guy next year

He's what we wished Sanchez was. Get Smith, a stud RB, a very good WR and we're good money.

There aren't many options out there in FA unless we think somebody like Matt Flynn can be the guy to lead us back to the playoffs

After watching the Lions/Packers game again, I retract my earlier statement that Flynn has a shot at being a legitimately good QB. The incompletions he threw weren't just incompletions, they were abortions. I think your best case scenario with Flynn is like an 80-85 QB rating guy.

I believe it will be Sanchez. Unfortunately
