If the Mets aren't willing to pay Dickey 3 years $45 million (or 4 years $50 million if what he wants is an extension) then it's clear they plan on trading him. Look for it to happen soon after Grienke signs.
Don't know much about Myers. How far is he from the majors?
Those reports, if there was any truth to them, (like all reports this time of year) were before pitchers like Pettitte, Kuroda and Haren signed, Dickey has to be worth at least $15 million a year, and 3 years isn't too long to pay him.Quote:

The man just won a CY and even though he's 37, he's showing no signs of regressing anytime soon.
He'll get 3/45 but not from the Mets which is a shame. That said, he probably just hurt his trade value.
