Article from 10 or so years ago..... Kind of funny..

I guess 10 years ago people would have bought that. But among the many thing hackers can't do is this. Now if they have physical access to your computer, a battery tampered with in the right manner on a laptop can conceivably be set to blow up if the heat on it were to rise to high. But unless a hacker has a way to overclock your computer beyond what it can handle, then I think you're safe.
