Hopefully the players are pissed off after sucking so hard against SF.
I initially predicted the Saints would split these two games (SF/ATL), and I'll stand by it. Sunday really rocked my faith in this team, though. With the Giants suddenly springing back to life, I'm not sure they could win these next two.
Zach Strief was limited in practice today. Bryce Harris was put on IR (broken leg). Defensive end Junior Galette, defensive tackle Tom Johnson, safety Isa Abdul-Quddus and wide receiver Courtney Roby also missed practice
For the Falcons, starting cornerbacks Asante Samuel (shoulder) and Dunta Robinson (illness) did not practice
'Spoon is a scary bastard.
I take it that Moore and Colston must be ok. They both got fawked up by those hard hitting niners.
I'd love to see a weakened Falcons' secondary. It'd help.
For all my pessimism, a win against the Falcons would go a long way (but only if it is followed up by a win in NY).
EDIT: Forgot about a win against TB, too. Damn, we just need to win them all.
Maybe after playing against the 9er pass rush it will make our Oline feel like the Falcons pass rush is an easy day. :D
I thought the Falcons would be more tough to beat than the 9ers but I grossly underestimated their pass rush.
So after the way we beat the Falcons already and the way we lose to 9ers, I feel like we can beat Falcons again.
I think Julio is healthier than he lets on. I think we have Turners number. I tend to hope they dont play Rogers or the other backs.
White will get his.
Tony G I think this time we slow him down at least in the redzone.
We can unleash the run game again. And light the air up.
Saints 44 Falcons 37
The Falcons don't play their best in big games esp. at home. Look how they fared against GB last season. They beat the Broncos when they could be easily beaten (Manning was still shaking rust off).
If Atlanta comes out the gate with a 2 score lead, the Saints might roll over. If the Saints come out strong and play that way the whole game, they can win.

I feel like we need to do something to eliminate Julio. To me, he is the biggest threat to us from their offense.
So, in other words, don't ever put Roman Harper on him.
