I have to disagree, we are only in year 2 of our brand new sharp dome, although it will happen in a couple of years knowing our fans unless this flawed management can somehow build a winning team in the near future.
Marlins to have lowest attendance in '13?

If so miami sould have no pro teams. miami sport fan would be a joke.
come on marlins are better then the expos. by a long shot. with a stadium in it second year an look as good as the stadium does. they should get 19,000 to 19,700 (because of trade). then at end of the year around 22,000.
Yeah people will still come to the ballpark because of the novelty of it's newness and to see Giancarlo at least initially.
Saying that, If the team is in last place in June or July, that stadium could be very empty.
So long as you count attendance including fans from visiting team, the draw won't be so bad. Miami is still a popular destination and if you're a fan from, say Houston where wins will be far and few between, travelling to Miami, if they face each other this year, may be one of the few times you're almost guarranteed a win. The real question is not the attendance, but the over/under number of games they win. Certainly, having the Mets in the same division helps artificially elevate this number, but I'm putting the number at 60.
