So are just wtf happened yesterday? I didn't see the game just the last seconds of the highlights.
I didn't get to see the last 5+ minutes abnd was going to ask did they start playing the prevent to win defense . I don't understand why teams do that crap. I would rather keep the foot on the gas and make the other team force a TO or something to win instead of bending over for them. What an embarrassing way to finish a game.
Anybody know how many more targets CJ got in the 4th? I saw the one in the endzone that got knocked out of his hands.
I hate that crap as well. I always said that the prevent defense is preventing you from winning the game. I don't understand why we used it considering our secondary sucks. I don't care about stats about our secondary because yesterday was a prime example of why we should have addressed the need during the off season.
I love how we quit going to the play makers when we have the lead. CJ should have had way more targets then that in the 4th.
I am wishing we had a way to get Jarnarious Jenkins. I knew he had issues but he seems to be doing good with the Rams
I don't even think it was the prevent D, but one horrendous decision by Florence to ignore his receiver while Luck was flushed from the pocket, allowing the WR to just run behind him straight to the end zone for an easy TD throw.
It is only a matter of time with this defense. You have to keep the lead built up or get the ball last because they will always give up big plays. I don't think they were doing much different, just getting more chances to fail in the clutch and like usual, they delivered the dagger to their team's heart.
