Let alone that Batch was doing well for what he was asked to do, aren't we pretty thin at RB? Redman got injured on Sunday I thought.
Give Rainey credit. He and Batch had the same role other than Batch being a better blocker but why have that guy wasting a spot?

There's one guy who I would really like to see on the Steelers is Malcolm Floyd.
Plaxico really has the chance to be the missing piece of this offense. We have the deep threat, we have the security blanket, we have the well-rounded receiver, we have the RBs who can pound it, we have the RB can that do it all with speed, we have an O-line that's improved over previous years. Now we have the tall guy who can work the sideline and the endzone. Really, all Charlie Batch -- or any QB -- has to do is get the ball in the hands of his play-makers and he now has a complete package of them.
What the hell could it hurt? We need someone, plus he's huge.
