Yes, he is a free agent, but it's highly unlikely he'll take another one year deal. Plus apparently Moreno doesn't like dealing with Boras clients or something stupid like that.

Oh, and he thought you were talking about Floyd, whose option did get picked up. I'd be interested in that deal. I doubt the White Sox would, realistically, but I'd take my chances on Gavin Floyd.

I go out for the evening and Haren is traded. I wake up and he's not. The internet is an idiot.

The white sox desperately need a third baseman and Callaspo isnt a bad option. Word around here fro the last year is the sox would probaly wind up picking up Floyd's option and than trade him.
