That's absurd. If he guaranteed you 1 world series, take that deal 10 times out of 10 regardless of his contract

There aren't many players that can guarantee a World Series and A-Rod certainly isn't one of them now.

He's not going to take over for Beltre at third for us, so he'd have to stick to DH'ing. Frankly, we can do better at DH than A-Rod.

Well, we do have the worst DH in the AL right now...
