Uniforms ?

It was mentioned in the NFL Network Top 10 Uniforms and they said the Chargers began wearing the dark blue ones in 1974.

However, watching the The AFL Unearthed, it shows filmage of a Chargers training camp practice in the dark/blue jerseys, and since it features Coach Sid Gillman who was coach from 1960 untill either 1969 or 1971, than then the dark ones had to have been way before 1974.

Good point! Can you send a link to both the footage of the NFL Network and the practice and I will get this cleared up

Well I did have a link up but I got a whole thread I posted deleted because of a rule I didn't know about posting links to other sites.


However, I did look over the Chargers Wegsite since posting this as it looks like they were introduced in the 60's.
