Freestyling doesn't mean much these days...
Drake is an underrated lyricist. His verse on Aston Martin Music is one of my favorite verses from a YM artist. Lil Wayne creates garbage music though.
Also, I have been listening to Clipse alot recently. Hell Hath No Fury is an insane album. The beats are ridiculous.
I talk slicker than a pimp from Augusta
Who just had his linen suit dry-cleaned, *****es, what's up witcha?
I hate callin' the women *****es, but the *****es love it
I took some sense and made a nickel of it
I'm urgin' all daughters to kiss they mothers
With those lips that all that lipstick covers
You're never too grown up to miss and hug her
And girls countin' on me to be there like missin' rubbers
I'm on some Marvin Gaye ****, a bunch of distant lovers
This ain't the life that I'm used to
Reintroduced to people I've been introduced to
Did you forget me? Or are you too scared to tell me that you met me
And fear that I won't remember, I wish you could still accept me for me
I miss Memphis, Tennessee, my cousins, my dad
The simplistic beauty that all of them Southerners have
I'm halfway across the world with dozens of bags
Feelin' like all four members of Color Me Badd
In one *****, amazing ****
I got that Courtney Love for you, that crazy ****
I don't drink every bottle I own, I be agin' ****
And I got them wedding ring flows, that engagin' ****
Which one of y'all got fleets on your keychains? The seats for these Heat games?
I really think you stare at yourself and you see things
La Familia, I've been inducted and instructed
To stunt on these ****** we don't really **** wit
**** is up?
Havin' lunch and debatin' Ferrari prices
23 and goin' through a midlife crisis
But trust me, I still deliver like a midwife
And no, I'm not sayin' I'm the nicest, I just live like it
Uh, it take a certain type of man to teach
To be far from hood, but to understand the streets
I never threw away that paper with my Grammy speech
Because I haven't hit the pinnacles I plan to reach
Yeah, you gotta own it if you want it
Kisses all on her body, she tells me live in the moment
And, baby, I'll never forget none of that
Girl, I told you I was coming back
his head up his ***, iímma have to head-butt him
gut him, lil tunechi ****, weak stomach
itís me, lt, like when you heat butter
old ***** in a can, red is the flag
**** with me wrong iíll put your head in your hands
thereíd be blood everywhere, i got bloods everywhere
iímma alien, i hope you ainít the prince of bel air
thatís real ***** talk, these ****** speechless
cut off his arm and leg like i charge for my features
hammer on my side like i work in construction
your ***** hit that head so hard we get concussions
****** canít see me, not even a glimpse
too many banana clips, i feel like chimps
south beach ***** and i tan line stupid
you could find me on collins like bootsy
i ainít on no **** ****, i be on that truk fit
your girl do tongue tricks and you sweeter than one six
all i ever see is ben franklin face
i chase the bank, i donít bank with chase
you ****iní with some ****** thatíll murk yíall
***** you softer than a mother****iní nerf ball
bird call, brr, what happened to that boy?
he was talkiní ****, we put a clap into that boy
a 14 year old probably ghost-wrote that for Wayne. Yeah, it's not subliminal...but yeah, it's corny as ****. seriously though...it's just middle school level insult, with some harsher cuss words, after middle school level insult.
Lil Wayne :laugh2:
freestlyling means absolutely nothing in rap period and it never has
there are platinum rappers who cant freestlye for their lives
and there are freestlye rappers who cant move albums(jadakiss, fabolous)
freestyling means nothing, it just means some people can come off the top of their head and others cant
but in all seriousness, drake can rap, but the only time his songs have substance are his chick tracks, he isnt an MC at all, and neither is any YM rapper
I enjoyed these lines when i first heard them :shrug:Quote:

Im not comparin this to any other waynes song especially in his prime i was just listenin to it on the radio as a "world premier" and i enjoyed it
To many uber critics especially when it comes to music which is why i never post about music or songs i enjoy. I only made the thread cause i heard it and enjoyed it but all the responses are either "this song sucks" or "good music > YM" "ym > good music" that have nothing to do with this specific song
I enjoy both wayne and pusha dont care enough to rank one ahead of the other cause i enjoy both artist music when thy make good songs
Pusha T's song is really good.
Lil Wayne only knows how to make bangin singles and albums full of pointless filler. John and 6 Foot 7 Foot were really good and the album just failed. He could be a good rapper but is unaware of how to obtain such status. He doesn't care though. He sells records.
However, this diss was awful by Wayne and Pusha's song was very good overall.
So you would rather listen to Drake then real rap?
how about this
