It's always easy to get down on yourself during the holiday season. It's madness, really. There's tons of food around, your life gets hectic having to go out a lot, see a lot of people, the gyms get far more crowded with the fair weather people who only show up for 1-2 months of the year, and the weather has a great effect on how people react to different situations. It's just important not to kill yourself after choosing McDonald's or fast food once. It's one meal, just pick up where you left off and you'll be fine. Hit the treadmill a little harder if it makes you feel better (or the Staminamaster).
Kicked it into overdrive today. Whole grain english muffin with egg whites and canadian bacon for breakfast with skim milk and an apple, whey protein after my workout, low-salt turkey sandwich with lettuce, tomato, green pepper, spinach, and a tbsp of balsamic dressing for lunch, more protein 2 1/2 hours later, and then grilled salmon for dinner with broccoli. Glass of skim milk and a handful of dried cherries just now.
Fish is soooo good for you. I try and eat it 3+ times a week
