I will be updating this throughout the Off-season.

Pitching is pretty much full right now. They have 12 guys that will make the roster. Now if they trade Lohse and or Westbrook, Lynn and or McClellan can move into the Rotation or they could add a starter etc.

So we are sitting at 88 million. In an ideal world, we have 22 million to spend but I see it actually being 12 to 15 million.

Enough to sign a decent ss or right fielder and a bullpen arm or two....

All numbers are from Cotts Contracts or the Arb guys I estimated.

They might have a few more guys on the roster like Chambers, Cruz, Hamilton, Anderson, but they all make minimum as well.

Our payroll last year it was around 110, that's why getting Pujols without anybody else pushed us well past our threshold. We can maybe spend 15 million, and even that's a stretch.

Ideally we will get someone that can help in center and in right and spell days off for Jay. We also need a SS and a Loogy.

You can get the lefty for 1 mil or less, so that's 14 for those two positions. My vote is for a Beltran type player that can still be a decent presence in the lineup, and the other 2 on a Orlando Cabrera nobody shortstop and let Tyler Greene figure it out.

Our lineup is going to look really rough without Pujols, Berkman and Holliday are fine, but they aren't much without Pujols. Going to take some getting used to.

Definitely need an outfielder with Craig missing some time.

Stupid lohse and Westbrook... Can wait to free up that 20 mil next year

haha at best, we get a Ludwick type player and a few crappy bullpen guys. i wouldn't expect someone like fielder or beltran anymore

Nah, they can't just leave a Pujols sized gap in the lineup. They have to add a legit bat.

we dont have the money to spend on a big bat anymore... i think MO is just going to hope that Wainwright coming back, Furcal coming back, and an improved bullpen for the whole season makes up for Pujols leaving.

at best, we have like 8 million left to spend.
