Well SJ got this guy Zura on loan, doesn't seem to fit that the GM was talking about as the guy doesn't really have that great of a scoring record.

Rumor has it Marco Pappa has been or will be transferred to FC Twente. So now we are getting rid of one of our better younger players....The Fire are pissing me off, we better get some great players in the next offseason.
That's hot. Twente is a good team. He has the skills. I wish Pappa was American. I wish him the best. You guys still have Nyarko though. You guys had a good set of guys who can take the ball and run at defenders (Oduro, Pappa, Nyarko). Eddie Johnson has signed to come back to the MLS. Chivas will have first crack at him but if they really did take Angel I think they'd pass but who knows with them. My Fire don't need him because well we have enough forwards now as it is and I don't want to waste a DP spot him if that's what he's asking for.

Also a new rule from the league for DP's...I like it but at the same time wished the younger Dp's didn't count as a main DP but a different type.
looks like Eddie Johnson backed out of coming to the MLS lol there is a rumor going around that Aris from Greece may want him but if he goes somewhere else I think its dumb, if he wanted to get his career back on track he should of came back to the MLS
Some more news coming out of Chivas is that their captain although he only played in 2 games...Jimmy Conrad is retiring due to post-symptoms of concussions. Sad to see a player go out because of an injury but I can't blame him. People feel he could be a great broadcaster though because of his personality.
Damn Carlos Bocanegra leaves St. Ethnies to sign with the Rangers, I read earlier the manager for his club was saying they weren't looking to get rid of hiim. Alejandro Bedoya also just got transferred there today so now 3 Americans will be there. I'm worried because this is like a hack league and injuries could mount up for them. Also now on mlssoccer the Fire are saying they haven't talked to Twente about a move for Pappa and that its just a rumor. So who knows.
I don't know what to think. They probably get paid a decent amount and they'll face decent competition in UCL but I don't know how much playing in the SPL does for these guys, unless they're not on a top 2 team.
