Orson Charles was mentioned in this Miami situation. Doesn't look serious, but the suits still might want to see what else he knows.
Jakar Hamilton is out for the season with a broken ankle. Williams was already going to be the starter at safety but still a tough deal for him.
Also, here's the Pro Combat uniform they'll be wearing for the first game:
What does everyone think about the pro combats? I think they are bad because of the wide stripe on the helmet and the red pants without any stripe on the jersey or pants. The font also bugs me but isnt the worst part of the uni.
I might be th only one on the planet that thinks the pro combats are pretty bad @$$
I like them, but I kind of miss the black jerseys.
Looks like Branden Smith is still dealing with the leg injury. CMR said if he can't go, Boykin would return punts and Damian Swann would move from nickel to starter.

Aaron Murray is going to definitely miss AJ Green..If you notice his numbers when Green was suspended drop dramatically
Good thing is they're not a permanent uniform... They're just under contract with Nike and have to wear the pro combats for a certain number of nationally televised games (probably just the Boise st game since both teams will be rocking the pro combat uni's)
They'll be back to the regular jerseys by game 2
although I do like the "blackout" style pro combats
Just beat the Coots for me!
Oh yeah, I know that. I was talking about the black jerseys they wore a few seasons ago in the Sugar Bowl.Quote:

I don't see anything wrong with wearing alternate jerseys every so often.
Great stat: Average size of #UGA's defensive front 7 in 210 -- 262.7; in 2011 -- 276.7
