i dont like how mods squeeze all the threads into one!! it makes it hard to get attention quick, and hard to respond. ITZ REALLY MESSY! it like too many different subjects into one! but whatever that makes it their life easier...
You have a very solid team.
I need some fantasy baseball advice. I've been in a keeper league for about 5 years now. I was AWFUL last season, so much so that I had the second overall pick this season. Yesterday, I made a trade that got me the first overall pick as well. I now have picks number 1 and 2 in this year's draft. I gave up my 2nd round and 5th round picks to get the number 1 pick, so I have to make those 2 count. Therein lies my dilemma.
Pujols is my obvious choice for the first pick. However, with my second pick, do I go with ARod or Halladay? Normally, ARod would be a no-brainer, but I have Ryan Zimmerman as a keeper possibility at 3B. I also have DLee as a keeper possibility at 1B, but we only have 1 utility infield spot. So, do I take Pujols & ARod, and keep Zimmerman as the utility (possibly giving me the best offensive infield in the league)? Or do I take Pujols and Halladay and keep both Zimmerman AND DLee (still giving me a pretty good offensive infield, but also giving me that ace starter that doesn't come along much)?
Right now, my keepers look like this:
Dustin Pedroia
Ryan Zimmerman/Derrek Lee
Chad Billingsly
Scott Kazmir
Carlos Marmol
^^^ Dude you are in trouble. How many keepers, 5??? Are those all of the players you can keep, if not can I see the rest of your roster, I may be able to help you get out of the basement.
How aren't Pujols or Hanley keepers?
Aramis Ramirez or Jorge Cantu for a keeper
I need to pick 5 out of these guys
A Dunn
J Santana
J Becket
C Beltran

Jorge Cantu
Aramis Ramirez

Hey guys Ive been coming to this site for a couple of years but mostly as a reader.Im making this post because I signed up for a fantasy team and without reading the fine print, had the draft 7 minutes after I signed up.Now please keep in mind that I have only played fantasy baseball once and at that time Frank Thomas and Ken Griffey Jr were the top players to get.I just would like to get some feedback on how you guys think I did.

Rotisiree scoring which Im not real sure what that is...any critiques would be appreciated
That is a very good team. How many teams in the league?
10...do I NEED more relief pitching?
I'll do mine even though it probably isn't that good. It was a 14 team league H2H, each team got three keepers:
C- Jorge Posada
1B Ryan Howard
2B Aaron Hill
SS Jose Reyes
3B Jorge Cantu
OF Jason Bay
OF Hunter Pence
OF Franklin Gutierrez
UTIL Justin Morneau
UTIL Paul Konerko
SP Ubaldo Jimenez
SP Scott Baker
SP Jered Weaver
SP Kevin Slowey
RP David Aardsma
RP Heath Bell
BEN-- Ricky Romero
BEN-- Aaron Harang
BEN-- Ben Sheets
BEN-- Shawn Marcum
BEN-- Akinori Iwamura
BEN-- Marco Scutaro
BEN-- Scott Rolen
BEN-- Matt Diaz (Last round pick and I was tired)
BEN-- Travis Snider
Like I say, I know it isn't great but with 14 teams, each of which get 3 keepers, you can't expect much IMO.
