I think the Magic will take game 2. Kobe can't sustain that transcendent level of play through every game of the series, and the bottom line is that the Magic had a LOT of open looks that just weren't falling, and they won't keep shooting that badly. The return of Nelson should help bigtime, too.

Kobe can sustain that level of play though. And while the Magic probably won't shoot that bad for the rest of the series, the Laker defense forced them out of rhythm. Sure they had some open looks, but they weren't in rhythm and within the offense they like to run.

I don't think Nelson will help them, he passed up open shots on several occasions, that were it January, he would have taken without hesitation, instead he passed on them. That doesn't help them, if he's out there, he has to take those shots and make them. Instead he went 3-9 and really wasn't all that effective. He had a couple nice assists and a couple nice shots, but overall, he didn't have anything but a negative effect because he didn't play like Jameer, he played like an injured and timid Jameer, and they'd be better served with Rafer and AJ out there.
