Just applied. I know you said to downplay association with Gimmead's site, but I figure that if they liked my work there enough to link to it in the "Baseball Blogs Weigh In" feature a handful of times, it can't be too bad. Plus it's probably my most immediate and relevant experience. I did mention that I've had work published on THT and Crashburn Alley, as well as the other experience I have. So we'll see, I guess.

Figure I'll throw my hat into the ring for one of these part-time MLBTR gigs. Any tips, seeing as how you progressed to the interview stage?

Well we need a 5th starter from somewhere does not really matter where we get it just as long as we do.

Who do you think will sign Zach Grienke?

I would have loved to take the Phillies crown by beating you guys but this way is easier.

Are you surprised with how this season has gone in the NL east?

I don't think alot of them would be open to that unless they feel the need to stick it to the Nats fans by overrunning the park i know you all aren't all bad but most are.

You do know the Nats have launched a take back the park intiative today and it seems like it has ruffled some of the Phillies faithful feathers.
