Hey I just saw in the "is Manning the biggest FA....." thread and you listed great QBs. I note you often over look or seem to not understand just how great Rodger Staubach was. I see you listed him but you listed him as a add on. I got me wondering just what you knew on him because IMO he is the only QB I can put in my top three with Montana and Brady.

O and I am not saying Peyton is better than Brady all I am saying is he is unique. Cant you at least admit that? See this is where I start having issue. They have a hard time giving credit to anyone. There is not a single QB in the modern era like Manning. Not saying that anyone cant just saying none of them do. Luck wont either watch. Luck will have a huddle he will call the plays told to him from the OC. Now I think that Manning might have had to much control and maybe they would have gone further had they ran a more traditional O.

Oh I believe that as time goes by Brady is taking more and more control. As for my friend I have to disagree. This guy has been to every nfl camp in the last few years. I cant say that and I dont think you can say that either unless you have a really cool job I dont know about and if thats the case that you yourself can say you have seen every single camp in the last few years I will never debate you ever again simply because you would know more than I. It does not take a genius to take note the differences between each camp. He does not need to know the inner workings all he has to do is watch. If like he said when at the Colts Peyton ran everything no one talked outside Peyton and that Peyton was the coach on the field I am not going to question it. If you spent time at Pats OTAs and camps I would give you the benefit of the doubt.

Every single person I heard told including a friend of mine (Bill Frakes) who works for SI as a Photographer has spent decades traveling around from team to team during camps. Manning came up in a convo and he said "I have seen every starting QB and team practice for the last almost 30 years and never have I ever seen anyone not a coach run things like Peyton does at camp and practice. " He said it was unreal even the coaches would shut up when he talked. He said that he had never ever seen a QB given that much room and respect before not Elway not Montana and not Marino. I asked about Brady he said Brady is different too. He said no one on that team is bigger than BB. Brady is a part of the machine on that team. Manning is the Colts.

Like I have always said if I could pick either QB to play for me I would pick Brady. Now if I could watch any with nothing invested I would want to watch Manning. The guy is special and does things I have never seen before. Having said that I think it is his down fall. I wonder what he could have done with a OC that actually called plays or had a HC that would honestly stand up to him. I wonder if it would have made him better?

I cant believe this guy and there Manning is good crap.
