Is DRS a very reliable stat?
Yeah I still post here and there. I'm a lot busier these days with work and quite frankly the arguing in the Cubs forum gets old because it's the same tired conversations over and over. If the Sabermetrics forum was more active I'd post there a lot more because those kinds of discussions are more intriguing to me.
Was wondering if there was going to be a MLB mock offseason soon? I remember last year it was around this time.
But see, it's less about being "liked" by mods than being in agreement with them. It is my contention that you have single handedly chased a large swath of PSDers from the MLB forum because you persecute those who don't follow your dogma. It would be an interesting poll for sure, as I have spoken to many others about this. But since you don't have the rocks to ensure it wouldn't be deleted immediately, I guess I'll have to let it go.
I would like to make a thread asking for opinions on your job as a mod and whether or not you have pushed a large amount of people away from the MLB forum because of your tendency toward acting like the "thought police." Will you agree to not be Orwellian and ban me immediately for asking this completely honest question?
Hey Jeffry there's a Yankee fan trolling in the Ryan dempster thread in the redsox forum http://forums.prosportsdaily.com/sho...&postcount=345
Also he posted this in the Yankee ot thread http://forums.prosportsdaily.com/sho...&postcount=345
Can ya take some action on this dude? Thank.
I have a baseball question and don't really want to make a thread on it. How come in 2002 Miguel Tejada won the AL MVP, just looking at numbers Rodriguez, Giambi, Thome were all up there as well. Just curious if there was something more going on at that time and if the team record really had that much weight in MVP voting Wasn't really big in to baseball until mid-2000's, so a little before my time.
Yea, its looking like Manea or Appel at this point. Agreed on the rivalry. Its so much better when we play for something.
