I agree with that. Its sad because I was hoping he would be more than that as time went forward. I am kind of old school. I love old Tribe, Wu, Redman, Scarface, and all the West Coast Dre stuff. I really dont like much of the newer stuff at all. IMO it has gone backward.

Then he is not as good as we all thought he was. A Tupac could cover more ground. He could do powerful songs not about inner city gang life. IMO if Em cant change his tone and deliver a powerful message that is not about the things that the younger Em went off about then he is a one trick pony. It is tough when you tie yourself to such a extreme edge like he did. When you look at guys like Scarface who has been putting stuff out since the Ghetto Boys and can still sound fresh you have to ask yourself why?

Sorry was gonna say something else but started reading that convo. Longevity is the hardest in certain genres. When your young your raw, pissed, or off the wall. As we age things change we mellow. Our views and lives change. But also styles around us change. We are viewed as out of touch or old. So when guys like Em try to show hey I am not old I am the same guy it comes off as either fake or forced. He should reinvent himself. Give up the old show. Use his talents but show something fresh and real.
