Yeah, we enjoyed it, and in luxor and aswan things were calm.
And you rarely get to see all the Karnaks, Kom ombos and abu simbels with only a 10% of the people that usually are there so we could check all in depth.
But is a bit sad at the same time, Egypt NEEDS tourism to survive.
We had no major issues except having to wake up REALLY eraly to be at Cairo Museum at opening hour in order that there wasnt many people on tahrir square .
man things are ****ed up down there, i was last week and my parents my wife and me were the only guests in the whole mena house one day. then there were thousends of ships in luxor that were in the dock and closed.
