I saw your thread and I don't know if this will help but depending on how you got it, or what red ring you have you can fix it yourself. On my old 360 I fixed it 3-4 times. It could just be very dirty inside. All you have to do is take it apart and use a dry cloth and maybe Q-Tips to clean it. I don't know if you want to try it but there's a few good youtube videos up that can tell you how to take it apart. I thought mine was broken but I took it apart and cleaned it and it was perfect.
