10 signed copies, no hanklers :/
I definitely will. I'm off tomorrow, I was planning on going to a couple of malls. Hopefully I can reel one in. I'll let you know!
Yea I thought so as well, they had easily 20-30 copies of them with 'signed copy' stickers. I might go back to see if any have a Hankler in them
I was lucky, I randomly stopped into my local wal-mart and they had a shelf full of signed copies. No Hankler Fish, but still pretty cool.
I love all the quotes about the stars and clouds. I think on the very last page, in Gus' letter to Van Houten he said something like "My thoughts are stars I can't fathom into constellations". I love it.
OMG I got that feeling from the beginning. I was like "****, this book is going to end with her dying in the middle of a sentence". I think Augustus is my favorite character in all of his books so far. So sophisticated, yet so immature at the same time. I loved everything about him.
That's an interesting point you bring up about him writing about teens and possible regrets. That could very well be true.
I still think I liked Alaska more, but I cant get over how much this book has made me THINK about life and the meaning behind it. I dont think any book has really made me sit and question my existence as much as this story has.
I need time to digest. I cant even complete a sentence right now, haha.
Are you on tumblr by any chance? I SWEAR I just read someone say that same thing on Tumblr
I just finished, I must know your minor complaint!
Im going to finish it at the gym tonight...haha. I'll let you know. LfA is probably my favorite non-HP book of all time, so we'll see.
IIRC, you've said in the past you like John Green, right? Have you read his new book? I just breezed through the first 230 pages in a few hours. It's freaking awesome.
