Yeah I mean after a few years it wears off but still... Just once would be really really nice.
I'd be like those cowboy fans screaming about the 90's forever. I know it
Haha I can imagine man. Was only a year ago I had the same nerves.
At the end of the day, at least you guys had 07. I'd take one superbowl for every 15 years or so like you guys do. Just one might even be nice
Happy Birthday! Wow... NFc championship game on your special day. Good luck.
It seems Walmart in general has signed copies. There were at least 5 at all four walmarts I went to.
10 signed copies, no hanklers :/
I definitely will. I'm off tomorrow, I was planning on going to a couple of malls. Hopefully I can reel one in. I'll let you know!
Yea I thought so as well, they had easily 20-30 copies of them with 'signed copy' stickers. I might go back to see if any have a Hankler in them
I was lucky, I randomly stopped into my local wal-mart and they had a shelf full of signed copies. No Hankler Fish, but still pretty cool.
I love all the quotes about the stars and clouds. I think on the very last page, in Gus' letter to Van Houten he said something like "My thoughts are stars I can't fathom into constellations". I love it.
OMG I got that feeling from the beginning. I was like "****, this book is going to end with her dying in the middle of a sentence". I think Augustus is my favorite character in all of his books so far. So sophisticated, yet so immature at the same time. I loved everything about him.
That's an interesting point you bring up about him writing about teens and possible regrets. That could very well be true.
I still think I liked Alaska more, but I cant get over how much this book has made me THINK about life and the meaning behind it. I dont think any book has really made me sit and question my existence as much as this story has.
I need time to digest. I cant even complete a sentence right now, haha.
