Besides, starting off saying "Hey So-and-So," is like my warm-up preparations. I might not be able to think or say anything otherwise.

It also makes me giggle - which is usually a good thing.

I was oh so fortunate to have terrific parents. They never fought (their only "fight" happened before any of us were born - and that was more than enough for them). AND they taught me to be polite no matter what. So, rebellious to the core, I fight to be polite. That's why I always start "Hey". Now my folks would have not exactly approve of that word, not quite formal enough for them. So, I consider it a decent compromise: a medium-level of formality. But, except in the heat of the game threads, I can't make myself not address people - some rebel !

YOU may be getting used to my weirdly unique, uniquely weird style; but I'm not. hehe

It's so bizarre, when I talk with other people or am writing something, I'm also, simultaneously reviewing the quality of my work. Confuscionifying as all get out. Who's in bleeping control here?

    Hey My *Superman*,
I've got some advantages in life: a baby who never says "no", and always wants more; plus all these decades are probably good for something? Pretty much nothing bothers me. Thanx so much for all the compliments. I DO TRY to put some thought into my posts; sometimes they even look like I did! (You may have noticed that the only person I make fun of is me -and it's only gentle fun - it "keeps me in my place"!). I also enjoy being a peace-maker; after doing that for 50 years, I've got a little skill at it- and it does make things more pleasant. Thanx for VM-ing me. Let's stay in contact!

    Hey *Superman*,
In the years:1981, 1985, 1988 and 2012 ... I did run 10,000 miles @ year. I ran 25 weeks of 200 miles a week (28.6 miles or 3.6 hours on tough hills a day); followed by a week off; then 25 more weeks of 200 miles a week & the last week of the year (Xmas holidays) off.

I was, as you can guess, "really into running"; and seeing how much I could handle. The monster shape I was in (especially in the 1980's) resulted in two great-surprises for me: my resting pulse rate (which had never previously gone below 60) reached 30 beats per minute (I've never read of any athlete with a lower one); and a body-fat % of 3% (I had never been below 8% before the first year I ran 10K miles; the only time I've read of athletes with lower body-fat were for some NFL-ers, one of whom reached 1.8% which is pretty "insane". iirc, that was Charles White).

N.B. In the NBA Finals Gm 1 Thread, you asked about this but the thread was closed. Meanwhile, somebody else claimed I always make stuff up.

I don't think Afflalo is that much better than Dudley and I think when you added JJ into it, it just became more obvious.

Haha and you can have Gortat back now if you want...just throw in Harkless or Harris into the deal
