The Tornadoes drafted Dave Wilcox but he isn't on the draft board. Figured I'd let you know.
You are OTC Inaugural Draft as well
You are OTC Rookie Dynasty
Do you have Ramon's list?
It's my fault for doing a 10 worst list in the 1st place. I should have just made a list of the best steals of the draft. In fact, if you'll let me, I will remove the 10 worst list since it obviously upset you, and I am sure it didn't make the others happy either.
You played the room and got the guy you wanted. Well Done. I'm probably alone in this, which is fine. If everyone loves your tandem, than it will help you in the voting. IMO, your team will do very well in the voting because of all the other wonderful picks you've made.
I think you are getting way too hung up on my comment of 2 years as the best. When I said that I meant, that even those he's had 6 very good years, he's only put up incredible numbers in 2 of them. He obviously was great the other 4. I look at this All-Time Draft as guys like Sayers, Thorpe, Sharpe and Johnson are risks because of their short careers, since they essentially played half as long as others. That being said, I understand your argument for being as good as Sharpe. Ultimately, like I said the other 3 times, you have done a terrific job with every other pick, and I thought you reached for Calvin. And, as I type that again, it's very possible some other GM takes him in that same round if you don't. Part of drafting is reading the room, and maybe you snagged him at the perfect time. I don't think he's one of the 200 best players in league history yet, but he may be one of the 200 best in the eyes of our GM's drafting.
Bob Hayes, John Stallworth, Larry Fitzgerald, and others were taken after Calvin and they had better overall careers than him. Obviously, Calvin has been amazing in his short career, but I just think it's just too short to be taken in the top 200 of All-Time.
