Damn, no I didn't watch it. Finals and certification tests took the lead of my time.
Yang makes a lot of sense. I can't wait.
Nice, I didn't know when the season officially started. Do you know if the musical will fit with the normal plot or exist outside of it?
Well I guess Iowa won't be facing Kansas lol. God damnit.
I'm just hoping Iowa faces Kansas in the championship game. Gotta win Friday first.
Are you going to the Big 10 Championship game? Can't be too far of a drive. Indy is just under 6 hours from here.
Guess whos back, back again, Croce is back, tell a friend.
Missed my college picks again last week. New job is absolutely killing my 'online' time. Hour drive each way + 10 hour shift = 12 hour days pretty much. Tuesday-Friday is work and sleep. Saturday is football all day. Sunday is recovery. Monday is dreading Tuesday lol.
Now that football is pretty much over, I'll have a little more time. Pumped for the basketball season though. Iowa has their first 'real' game Thursday night.
Yup that was awful. However, any team that loses their top 2 players in the first half will struggle. We had the lead when they were playing
Ah well. We'll just have to beat you in basketball
I just feel bad for Fran because he has spent the last 18 months recruiting this guy. Then Kentucky drops by 3 months ago and BAM, they get him.
If he thinks he can get to the NBA, then he's mistaken. His size alone is an obstacle. He's a 4 year college player and that is it. How often do players stick at Kentucky for 4 years? Not too often! His playing time isn't guaranteed there. He will always have competition..where at Iowa, he was pretty much a lock for 4 years of playing time.
Just sucks how a big time program doesn't even have to do anything and they can get who they want. Have you read comments from his dad the last few weeks? Christ...maybe it's a blessing Iowa didn't get him. His Dad seems like a prick.
Oh well. I won't cheer against the guy, but I will smile if he struggles to get playing time.
I've been MIA around this site, but came back just to post that to you
Everything sounds like Kentucky is a lock. Which really sucks. He's just going to be "another" player at Kentucky. Iowa and he would be a 4 year starter and a star.
I hope I'm wrong, but I think Kentucky won
I honestly think it's between Iowa and MSU. MSU, in my opinion, is the favorite. But the longer he holds out, I would say is better for Iowa. I'm sure if I was in his shoes, I'd wait it out, too. But being the fans we are...just make up your damn mind!
I haven't been this excited for basketball in years. I really think Iowa can finish in the top 3-4 of the big ten. Just watching the team "possibly" play in the big dance is pretty damn exciting.
