I am so glad that I don't support our Austin office. Our Crimson product is developed and implemented on Macs, which means our team down there works almost exclusively with them. Preparing, managing, deploying, and repairing them is the biggest pain I can imagine...and we only have a couple of teams that use them in DC.
We are issuing people Lenovos for PC users and I think they are great for corporate. Macs in a corporate environment are a big pain in the ***. I love my personal one but I would not use one at work.
I have a good story for you, since I know you're not the biggest supporter of Macs. At work, we have folks who are doing .net developing that want to transition their team over to Mac computers (as opposed to their current Dell/Windows machines). In order to facilitate this, they will need to setup Virtual Machines on the computer to run Windows. Long story short, .net is something that should be developed in a Windows architecture and doing so from a Mac incurs a large cost that is absolutely unnecessary. While you know that I'm a Mac guy, this makes absolutely no sense.
I think someone stole it and will be selling parts.
I feel a little bad about laughing at this, but it made me chuckle:
I guess I could but in order of fairness I'd have to go back and undelete and remove the spoilers from the rest of the deleted posts. This way the posts get deleted and it firmly puts an end to the conversation. Technically your post wasn't bad but they didn't specifically show the car stalking them and it could be a spoiler even if it could be inferred. I just wanted to put a firm stop on it before it got out of hand with a bunch of people yelling.
It's not as good as ATLA, but it's still pretty good.
Boo! There were a lot of people who were surprised that I retired, but oddly enough very few people have directly said or asked anything.
I am a huge fan and can't wait for season three of Korra (sequel to ATLA). I just got one of the graphic novels that they put out and when I get some dedicated time I will read through it. I usually go back and watch ATLA when I am bored. It is by far one of my favorite TV shows, and I was very pissed when they took it off Netflix.
Oh, just out of curiousity. Did you ever watch Avatar The Last Airbender?
Yep, I stepped down a little while ago. I told them that I'm always willing to offer advice, but with finishing up my MBA and the responsibilities on me in my job expecting to increase I just don't have time and something had to go.
I did not recommend you, but only because you don't root for the Broncos. Maybe you could fix that problem...
