So I figured you'd get a kick out of this... I wrote an article on the awesomeness of Jake McGee yesterday and his mom commented on it. Haha
Right on. Those friends owe you.
It's not vital, but they're nice to add if you can find them at a reasonable price. Still, the meat should still have plenty flavor without them. Were you the only beneficiary of the recipe? It yields quite a bit.
No kidding? That's great! Did you make any tweaks to the recipe? I can't remember if I listed chopped pine nuts being included in the meatballs, which I've done the past two times I've made the sauce.
Pimp any affiliations you have (ex. THT got me through the first stage), any publications, any daily recurring work you've done (even if it's not baseball), and avoid mentioning any particularly partisan sites you've worked for (Gimmead's site). They like the whole fair and balanced thing.
If you can't put together a strong bio the above, you'll need to do something very creative to get their attention. And I have no advice on that.
If you get through the first stage, they'll ask you to write an MLBTR style article for them. They may or may not provide a topic. They'll do that at least two more times. Ostensibly, they eliminate some candidates after each article request. I got through 3 rounds of articles and it took them close to a month to bother responding that I didn't get the job, so I have no idea how many more rounds there were.
And there goes my first **** up lolz. Can you delete the NL East thread? Couldn't add the poll.
Just inserted the poll, I think I did it right.
Polls have always been a mystery to me. I'm going to try to post the division voting but if for some reason I fail massively at creating to the polls, can you make the threads?
Yeah, I listened to the track a while back and still listen to it a couple of times. Flying Lotus came out saying he was Captain Murphy, which is pretty cool.
