Well you made a good move. I dont know what you could have that would be better besides a Bronco avatar. And yea you are going to find people on both sides who take things too far and go on the attack to the person instead of the idea. I try to take an even look at things even if i dont agree and if i make a point against it i try to make it clear that i am biased but that i am trying to keep it out of it.

Just know that i could never hate/dislike someone, no matter how conservative, with a picture of Stewie in their avatar.

Yea, bmd knows of my ire towards phx. See, I really do try to keep "my side" in check. But, sometimes to no avail. There are just some people you can't get through to no matter how much you complain. You'd think that somebody from his own side tormenting him would get the message across -- but I think he paints me as a secret closet conservative.

Hmm... we have too many stickied threads, so we can't have a sticky, but if you want to create a Position Battle Thread, and then in the first post put the positions that are "up for grabs" and contenders, go for it!

Agreed. I just really like finding somebody on the other side that's willing to engage in some sort of meaningful discussion without resorting to hurling insults or mass generalization based on common stereotypes.

I hope it continues in the forum -- there were some times during the campaign that it got overly tense and idiotic. But, I guess you'll have that when emotions are running high.
