I personally don't like it. I hate it on burrito, tacos, sandwiches, anywhere. However, I do enjoy it if you scrap it off the skin, put it in mug, sugar, a little condensed milk, let it chill, put crushed ice. Mix it up then enjoy.

The taste avocado gives goes well with the sweetness of sugar.

But for me avocado tastes great. I like them specially with burgers, sandwiches, salads and also the grilled Steak with Avocado Sauce!! Yummy!

Avocado is a delicious condiment and one of the healthiest foods out there so I incorporate it regularly into my diet

i find mayo (or mayo-based spreads) to be disgusting and overbearing on sandwiches, so i tend to use avocado slices spread into a "paste" or guac as an alternative (i also use pesto, chimichurri and other herb-and-oil-based sauces a lot).

I don't mind the flavor, it just tastes like mush. Like it ruins sushi and california rolls for me.

It really is a fantastic substitute for people who don't care for mayo due to the creamy texture of it. Also I tend to find the flavor isn't too overbearing on a well equipped sandwich.

ARE YOU ****ING KIDDING ME??? My favorite fruit of all time. How can anyone not like avocados? Or misspell the word for that matter.

Clearly you people have never had a good guacamole. This is the greatest fruit in existence.

I like to mashing it with some S&P, sometimes garlic and spread it on a sandwich. So damn good. Hummus is a good alternative too.

I'd argue with you, but I like your 2 in the pink one in the stink profile pic too much.

I didn't even know I had an avatar until now. I have them turned off. There was a clan of weird NY posters (aren't they all??) that had them so I copied them.

Avocado is one of the most disgusting things I have ever eaten....can't stand it. Taste and texture is just gross. The only time I can stand it is when its in tiny slivers in sushi.

Love avocado on everything inwhich it compliments. Burgers, clubs, dips, sushi, literally anything. And as it was said before so good for you.

I couldn't disagree more i think it is great with sushi. Salmon and unagi, there is this roll at my favorite sushi place that is a salmon, cream cheese, avocado and unagi in deep fried tempura amazingness. By far my favorite roll ever.

Can something even taste like "mush"?

I think you meant the texture feels like "mush".

I also think you meant Avocado, and not Avacado.

Considering how mush is an actual thing... yes, something can taste like mush.

Yeah, but that's not how it was used. There's no way avocados could taste anything like ACTUAL mush; as a consistency reference ok, but not flavor in anyway.

He said "something", not "avocado". I concede that I was wrong the first time. But so is he!

You guys are just defending the stupid avocado.

Love it with beef, especially when there's a good spice to it.

Dear lord. Avocado is one of the greatest foods on this earth. Like others have said, I use it in place of mayo.

Its also fantastic with a little salt and pepper and a spoon.

Well they are quite delicious..I mean if you eat it by itself it might not taste that good but when you add it to a salad its good. And the best thing is, i went to a Lebanese restaurant and they had the best avocado smoothie ever.

So porridge.

Such a different consistency than an Avocado. You can't slurp an Avocado from my experience.

Yeah, but the consistency allows it to be mashed w/out a processor.

I thought of avocado as a thick texture, never mush.

HOWE do i do it
09-21-2012, 02:45 AM
I'm kind of indifferent to it. I can do without it, but if it's in my sushi or something else I wont ***** about it.
