What type of pizza do you prefer?

Any type. Never had authentic deep dish but I'd guess that would wind up being my favorite.

I'm a big deep dish fan but the wife hates it so we usually do thin. I've learned to go to places that have thin but cook it hot so it's damn near brittle on the bottom so tasty. My all time favorite is wood fire pit pizza's. Man that's good.

Being from near chicago I can tell you Chicago is flat out wrong they have the best pizza (and remember I love deep dish) NYC specifically little Italy is where it's at.

I think they're both good and this thread is going to turn into a **** show. I really don't think its a fair comparison between the two.

I prefer NY though. Chicago is just too much of everything. A good, nice and light, NY pizza is definitely where my preference lies. Although that could be an acquired taste.

Yeah I feel like I am stabbing my fellow Chicagoan's in the heart but, if I had to be true to myself and poll then I have to go NY thin is my fav. However it's also the first pizza I fell in love with and had before Deep Dish.

Where do pizza rolls fit into your schedule? On the go? Midday snack? Late night treat?

I like thin crust but I usually get hand tossed from Dominos or Papa John's. I love Gino's East deep dish though.

New York style is the best, but above all, if it's good pizza, it's good pizza...

Stuffed crust.

This place down the street does a pesto cheese stuffed crust.

Not a fan of stuffed crust, but they definitely do it right.

Either, but I suppose I'd prefer Chicago style if I was really hungry. I just LOVE pizza in general.

btw, never eat deep dish before drinking a lot of beer. I made that awful mistake once, and it will never happen again.

I had a great deep dish here in LA (EP) and I can only eat 2 slices max, even when i'm starving. I still yet to try an authentic one from Chicago, but people who had it before and from Chicago said that its very similar to the one they can find in Chicago. Saying that, I don't think I can eat a deep dish anyday, but NY style I like. I had NY pizza whenever i'm at NY, and I like it a lot due to simplicity.

I've been actually wanting to do my own pizza, but haven't find the energy to try and make my own recipe for the sauce. Basil will have to be in it though. I have a basil plant, and I think I might put it to my room because of the fragrance it gives off.

I love thin crust pizza. I'm from NY, but not near NYC, so I doubt there's not much of an influence in my area. Could be wrong.

Deep dish is outstanding, but my favorite pizza ever was a brick oven cooked NY style pizza with a garlic knot crust. Best ever...

Deep dish is consistently my favorite, but when I went to Italy their pizza was (of course) the best ever. I love any good pizza but a good deep dish will get my vote over a good thin.

Hawaiian and anything with cheese-stuffed crust.
