Aw man, Ramon Nivar's 2 favorite teams right? Not to be cocky or anything, but out of all the teams that made the playoffs in the NFC, I was hoping we'd play the Falcons. I just think they're overrated. Ryan is solid, but still young and inexperienced. If we can stop Turner, theyre offense should be tough to handle. And ATLs defense just isnt very good. They almost lost to the lowly Rams today. I see us taking this one.

I'll be at the game rooting for Atlanta. This game will be decided by Atlanta's secondary. It is awful. Mike Gandy is big too. Abraham is our only pass rush. Cardinals need to be able to tackle though. Couldn't even tackle Maurice Morris today and Michael Turner is a lot better and even Norwood is a better back.

Edgerrin James revealed in his post-game press conference Sunday that he was informed last Monday he'd start Week 17.

Tim Hightower still got red-zone carries but James carried the bulk of the load, getting 15 touches and totaling 106 yards. Edge seems certain to start next weekend against the Falcons after this high-energy effort. The Cardinals obviously have grown tired of Hightower's indecisive running.

It will be an interesting game. I think the Cards can win this if they play up to their potential. The defense will need to step it up and control the Falcon running game. If they do, then Warner can lead the team to a victory.

GO CARDS!!

Anquan Boldin (shoulder) is expected to return for the Cardinals' first-round playoff game against the Falcons.

Boldin missed the team's final two regular season games and is likely to be limited in practice again this week.

Anquan Boldin (shoulder) promises to be ready for the Cardinals' Wild Card game against the Falcons.

"If anybody thinks that I'm going to miss this game, they're not too bright," said Boldin. "If my arm was broke, I'd be out there. I'm not missing this one. Our whole season is riding on what we do in the playoffs."

Cardinals OLB/DE Travis LaBoy (ankle) is expected to return to the lineup Saturday against the Falcons.

LaBoy was a strong pass rusher early in the season, but he's been banged up and without a sack since Week 5.

Cardinals beat writer Kent Somers reports Anquan Boldin practiced Tuesday "like the two weeks off with a shoulder injury never happened."

Coach Ken Whisenhunt said Boldin "feels a lot better and is a lot more confident going into this game." His return, combined with a resurgent Edgerrin James providing at least some semblance of a running game, should have the Cardinals feeling more confident as home underdogs Saturday.

Anquan Boldin (shoulder) was limited in Cardinals practice Wednesday.

Boldin swears he'll play in Saturday's game vs. Atlanta and it'd be silly to doubt him. The Cards gave him two weeks off. He's fully expected to start.

Cardinals OLB/DE Travis LaBoy (ankle) was the only Cardinal to sit out Wednesday's practice.

And LaBoy is expected to play. The Cardinals will be at full strength for their franchise's first home playoff game since 1947.

Anquan Boldin (shoulder) was limited in Cardinals practice Thursday.

The limited practice week is more than Boldin has done since Week 15. He is expected to start and play extensively Saturday against the Falcons.

Anquan Boldin (questionable, shoulder) returned to a full practice Friday.

Boldin was limited early in the week, but the increased practice reps are highly promising. He hasn't taken a hit in three weeks and his shoulder should be close to healed by now. The Cardinals' offense is at its best when Boldin, Steve Breaston, and Larry Fitzgerald are in a three-receiver set and they'll pose significant matchup problems for a weak Falcons secondary.

Definitely different to see. Haven't watched much football this year but the cards look ready to be back in the playoffs and hope they can get past Matt Ryan and advance.

They aren't calling holding period, there was one on the first Cardinals Punt return that was fairly clear and wasn't called.

Anquan Boldin's status for next week is in question after he missed the second half of Arizona's playoff win Saturday.

He will be evaluated over the next few days, although we imagine he'll find a way to suit up next week regardless. Jerheme Urban, who moved up one spot in the wideout rotation when Boldin left, made a huge mistake against Atlanta which cost Arizona points.

why because of his constant false starts and at least one hold a game penalty.......we need an up-grade

Cardinals coach Ken Whisenhunt says Anquan Boldin (hamstring) could be active against the Panthers on a "limited" basis.

Boldin's status will be determined in pregame warmups. It's possible that he'll see a few snaps Saturday, but only as a decoy opposite Larry Fitzgerald.

You have a pretty good 3rd WR in Breaston. He should see a lot of action.

you are right GOOD JOB.....But I really was elluding to the masssive penalties he gets called for in games not just false starts, I was lumping all penalties into false starts, because I was saying how his laspes of focus do not make him a dominate guard
