Does anyone else think he is a candidate for come back player of the year?
Here are his stats:

G AB R H 2B HR RBI OBP SLG BA
85 208 33 62 14 7 33 .329 .486 .298

And I know what Cubs fans are gonna say so here is Jim Edmonds:

G AB R H 2B HR RBI OBP SLG BA
90 278 40 66 16 16 48 .344 .475 .237

Both have similar numbers of Games played, Edmonds has a few more AB's however. Runs scored is very similar. Hits are almost identical, doubles are almost identical, Edmonds has far more Hr's, more RBI's, slightly higer OBP, worse slugging %, and his batting average is at about Mike Cameron level. Both players have shown they are outstanding defenders. Personally I would take Kapler any day. He hits for much higher average, and isn't a Russel Branyan clone.

I'm not sure how Fernando Tatis is doing anymore but I thought he'd win it.

Kapler was out of baseball to clear his body from the juice he was on. I heard that at the Brewers game last night from someone behind me who was comparing him to Giambi

Ah you didn't bite. thought you were gonna ask if it was a Cubs fan which it was by the way. But here is my little Kapler story my boss at work toured Miller Park earlier this season and Kapler was running stairs going from section to section then as they left the tour he was running in the next level up. That's impressive.

Ok seriously no homo but have you seen this dude with his shirt off?....It's more impressive then being able to see his vains popping out from the right field bleachers.

did you guys see on FSN during the game what he said about Braunie? How important he is to that team and how much better we are with him in the lineup. How he is becoming one of the best hitters in the game and is starting to become one of the better defenders in the league

Sounds like Kapler belongs in the organization no matter what capicity its in. He could probably manager better than Ned.

AGREED!!!

If Nedster, Ted Simmons, Mike Maddux, and Jim Skaleen get ejected I'd bring in Kapler to manage.

I also agree that he would probably be a better manager than Ned, but hey, just because Ned hasn't done amazingly well doesn't mean he's a bad manager.
