What do you think of the team's signing of Ryan Braun's younger brother Steve? He's more of a defensive player than a hitter, but what do you all think? :)

Haha undrafted FA. Basically a nice gesture to Ryan's little brother.

He can't hit but he works hard and plays better D then his brother.

Don't get too excited Brewers fans, he isn't going to be as good as his brother. If he did though, that would be fricken' cool. Imagine if we had 2 Braun Brothers hitting like 3 and 5 in the rotation. LOL.

That's a cool thing for the Brewers to do. He played 1 year at a JC, then 3 years at Maryland. Hit about .255 the first 2 years and .275 last year. Maryland's site says his, "defensive skills rank among the top in the ACC", but take it for it's worth. Looks like an MI. Nothing more than organizational depth, but still cool.

Might as well try our shot at possibly getting another Braun like Ryan, but that's very doubtful. Worth a shot however.

With his brothers genes, however, who knows...

Theres actually another Ryan Braun in the Kansas City organization. He sucks. Career 6.66 ERA in limited time in the majors with the Royals.

It sure would be nice to have the Braun brothers being stars but its probably going to end up being like Cal and Billy Ripken.
Yeah that would be neat.... Steve could be another Craig Counsell IMO.
