4 blazers are ranked in the top 20 for chances of winning the rookie of the year award. Greg Oden can win it because he never played a game last year.

Ranks:
2. Greg Oden
3. Rudy Fernadez
13. Jerryd Bayless
20. Nicholas Batum

I read that article earlier today. I thought it was kinda interesting. But i still think Beasley is going to win it.

I don't think Rudy can win it because he won't be starting. The same goes for Bayless if they don't start him (that would be a dumb decision.) I think Oden has a good chance to win it, though, defensive players rarely win R.O.Y.

i think it will be oden, givin the fact that he has had atleast some nba experience by just being with and around the team, he has been coached and shown what and what not to do. beastly as i like to call him will be a close second but thats just because he can score, but oden can do it all. so oden i believe

I think Rudy should start over Bayless. Easily.

Who would guard the other team's PG? You can't have Fernandez and Roy on the court at the same time, because neither of them are suited to guard a PG for an extended period of time. You would then have the same problem in the second unit. Between Bayless and Blake, who would guard the SG? The only way I see Roy and Fernandez on the floor for an extended period of time, is in a three guard lineup... with Roy defending the other team's small forward.

i really don't see any possible way beasley doesn't win it unless he gets injured. the guy is just a stat machine (which is pretty much all the votes are based on) and playing in the east will definitely help his chances.

If the Blazers make the playoffs this season it'll be (IMO) due to Oden and in that case I see him taking it.

Is Rudy Fernandez that good? I've never seen him before.
